Building strong, collaborative relationships with parents is a critical component of effective special education practice. Partnering with Parents is a practical, interactive training designed to strengthen communication, trust, and teamwork between educators and families of students receiving special education services.
Participants will leave with knowledge that allows them to understand why students with autism might behave the way that they do. They will learn how to utilize student's unique learning styles to help them learn most effectively.
Participants will understand how to recognize varying levels of engagement in their students and will learn where to go next to support increased engagement.
